MARY ANN BUTLER née MOBBERLEY and SYDNEY BUTLER appear to have had just one child born in Australia, namely WALLACE HENRY who was born 1/3/1891 and died 17/6/1969 in New Zealand aged 78. It is known MARY ANN was resident in New Zealand in 1925. It is said that SYDNEY died in 1921 but this has not been verified. It is also said MARY ANN and SYDNEY had other children, namely MARY ANN (1886-1950), SIDNEY FREDERICK (1889-1969), EMILY HARRIET (1893) and RITA VICTORIA (1898), but again these have not been verified.

In 1919 the registration was changed to MARCUS JOFFRE McGINLEY, mother ELSIE W McGINLEY, father MARCUS A McGINLEY) registered COLLARENABRI. In fact, MARCUS JOFFRE McGINLEY was the only child ELSIE WINIFRED ever had

JAMES BRETT and SUSANNAH BRETT also had two or three other children. Death certificates of James and Susannah indicate one more male and one more female. Records of Ina May Ring (grand daughter of James and Susannah through Susan Eliza Bond) records two extra males, William (born 15/6/1851 died 27/6/1895) and William (born 1/7/1870) - but no William migrated with the family in 1857. The NSW registry records the death of a Mary J (daughter of James and Susan).
