While most of the research that has led to the creation of the website Colin Field's Personal Collection of Genealogical Records has been undertaken by Colin Field, many others too numerous to name have contributed. To all of these, I acknowledge my debt and express our appreciation. However, two people need to be acknowledged by name. These are:
Herbert Slack, who shortly before his death documented what he knew of his family in an exercise book. Herbert produced a number of handwritten copies and distributed them among his relatives, including his Australian relatives. An Australian copy reached the possession of Colin.
Mim Tamsitt, who is the source of all the information on Yvonne's Starr relatives. Min is keen to hear from anyone who is related to the Starrs - her last known email address is tamsitt@goconnect.net
